Der Tierpark war bis zum 23. Mai 2016 an der Börse in Brüssel notiert. Im Jahr 2015 wurde er zum frankophonen Unternehmen des Jahres gekürt. Pairi Daiza wurde auch mehrfach zum besten Zoo Europas gewählt.
Pairi Daiza - was auf Persisch 'geschlossener Garten' bedeutet - war bei seiner Eröffnung nur ein Vogelpark, hat sich im Laufe der Jahre jedoch zu einem vielseitigeren Zoo entwickelt. Der Park ist thematisch als 'Garten der Welten' aufgebaut. Der Park besteht aus acht Welten. Im Jahr 2019 wurde mit 'The Last Frontier' die achte Welt offiziell eröffnet.
