Die Abtei von Val-Notre-Dame, das ehemalige Kloster der Zisterzienserinnen, wurde im Jahr 1200 im belgischen
Antheit gegründet und befindet sich heute in der Provinz von Lüttich.
Ursprünglich diente das Anwesen als Krankenhaus für Leprakranke, einer im 7. Jahrhundert weit verbreiteten Krankheit.
Im Jahr 1180 wird es von einer Glaubensgemeinschaft übernommen, die 1218
eine Kirche errichtet. Im 13. Jahrhundert verzeichnet das Kloster einen Aufschwung, doch es folgt eine Zeit des Niedergangs,
der Kriege und schließlich wird es nach der Beendigung der Französischen Revolution verkauft. Seit 2015 beherbergt das schöne
ehemalige Abtei-Gebäude ein Internat.
