Wenn man genau hinsieht, erkennt man, wie geschickt der Hoeve Hof zu Putbeek gebaut wurde. Direkt über dem alluvialen Bereich des Putbeek. So hatten die Kühe bei den Überschwemmungen des Baches keine nassen Füße. Und die Wiese war ganz in der Nähe. Die Getreidefelder liegen höher am Hang des Tales. Diese gleiche Anordnung sieht man auch bei anderen Bauernhöfen entlang dieses Tals.
