Der Ursprung des Namens dieses Dorfes soll "Pullisioduros" sein, d.h. Die Festung der Herren Pullsius. Aber eigentlich ist alles unklar über den Ursprung des Dorfes. Es gab sicherlich eine Gallo-Römische Besetzung und Poulseur war eine wichtige Ortschaft während des Mittelalters. Die Architektur im Zentrum zeugt von der Wichtigkeit der Steinbearbeitung im letzten Jahrhundert. Besonders sehenswert ist die Kirche Sacré Cœur de Jésus, der Turm Reinarstein, das Volkshaus, verschieden Bauernhöfe, Brunnen, Steinindustrien, der Kanal mit den Schleusen, verschiedene Mühlen,…..
