Der 52 m hohe kybernetische Turm ist eine abstrakte Skulptur, die aus einer luftigen Konstruktion aus quadratischen Stahlröhren besteht. 1961 direkt neben dem Palais des Congrès errichtet, gehört er zum außergewöhnlichen Kulturerbe der Wallonie. Diese visionäre Installation offenbart eine faszinierende Originalität... Die Konstruktion ist mit Flügelblättern unterschiedlicher Formen versehen. Das Funktionsprinzip beruht auf Motoren, die von einem elektronischen Gehirn gesteuert werden, mit drei Wirkungsweisen: Bewegung, Musik und Beleuchtung des Turms. Dieses Werk des französisch-ungarischen Künstlers Nicolas Schöffer, dem Vater der kybernetischen Kunst, ist in seiner Funktionsweise eines der monumentalsten und ausgefeiltesten.
