Der Heldenwald ist 1,30 Hektar öffentlich zugängliches Nachbarschaftsgrün, nahe dem Zentrum von Zulte, im Bereich zwischen der Kapellestraat, dem Kouterweg und der Dennenstraat.
Dieser Wald wurde als Hommage und lebendige Erinnerung an den Einsatz aller Pflegekräfte, vor und hinter den Kulissen während der Coronakrise, angelegt.
Es gibt auch eine Hundeauslauffläche und einen richtigen Erntegarten mit mehreren Beerensträuchern und einigen hochstämmigen Obstbäumen sowie einer Ruhebank.
