Dies ist das Moor von Jette-Ganshoren. Hier findest du vierzig Vogelarten und ein Dutzend Amphibien. Und das in Fahrradentfernung vom Brüsseler Stadtzentrum. Es liegt direkt an der Grenze zu Flandern und ist vielleicht eines der am besten gehüteten Geheimnisse der Brüsseler Hauptstadtregion. Dieses Gebiet ist zusammen mit dem Moor von Ganshoren eines der letzten Überbleibsel des Molenbeek-Tals. Obwohl das Gelände Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts durch den Bau einer Eisenbahnlinie zwischen Brüssel und Dendermonde in zwei Teile geteilt wurde. Seit 1995 ist das Moor, zu Recht, ein geschütztes Naturschutzgebiet.
