Der Thier de Coo ist eine der härtesten Pisten in Belgien und würde auf Platz 163 der Welt rangieren. Normalerweise erfolgt der Aufstieg von Stavelot aus. Dieser Rastplatz befindet sich jedoch an der Straße von Coo nach Ster auf einer Höhe von etwa 400 m. Der Aufstieg geht weiter bis auf 470 m, aber an dieser Kreuzung können Sie auch direkt über Parfondry nach Stavelot fahren.
In der Nähe befindet sich auch ein kleines Kriegerdenkmal für den Minenräumer Rolab und Albert Joseph.
