Recollecting Landscapes war eine Initiative von Pieter Uyttenhove und vielen anderen, bei der Fotos von Botaniker Jean Massart aus der Zeit von 1904-1911, diese von Landschaftsfotograf Georges Charlier aus 1980 und diese von Jan Kempenaars aus 2003 nebeneinander gestellt und analysiert wurden. Was folgte, war eine einzigartige Studie über die Landschaftsevolution in Flandern.
