Die Schlacht von Klokotniza wurde am 9. März 1230 in der Nähe des Dorfes Klokotniza zwischen dem Zweiten Bulgarischen Kaiserreich und dem Despotat Epirus geschlagen. Infolge dieser Schlacht wurde das Zweite Bulgarenreich erneut zum mächtigsten Staat in Osteuropa und die Macht des Despotats Epirus sank erheblich. Die Schlacht wird von Historikern oftmals als die glücklichste und fruchtbarste Schlacht in der bulgarischen Geschichte angesehen.
