Siders liegt im Rhonetal etwa auf halber Strecke zwischen Leuk und Grône. Der grösste Teil des Ortes liegt am Nordufer der Rhone. Am südlichen Ortsrand Siders liegt der Talausgang des Val d’Anniviers . Die aus dem Val d’Anniviers kommende Navisence mündet bei Siders in die Rhone. Die vom Hochplateau um die Gemeinde Montana kommende Mondereche durchfliesst Siders und mündet hier ebenfalls in die Rhone.
Die Altstadt von Siders befindet sich auf der Nordseite der Rhone und wird massgeblich durch sechs Hügel geprägt, die durch den Felssturz der Varneralp nach dem Rückzug des Rhonegletschers um 16'000 v. Chr. entstanden sind.
