Boniswil ist eine Einwohnergemeinde im Schweizer Kanton Aargau. Sie gehört zum Bezirk Lenzburg und liegt rund acht Kilometer südlich des Bezirkshauptorts im Seetal, am nordwestlichen Ende des Hallwilersees. Im Jahr 1898 wurde Alliswil eingemeindet.
Das Dorf liegt etwa einen Kilometer westlich des Hallwilersees am Rande des Seetals auf einer erhöht liegenden Terrasse. Dem Seeufer entlang erstrecken sich ausgedehnte Sumpfgebiete mit Schilfgürteln, die unter Naturschutz stehen. Der Aabach bildet die östliche Gemeindegrenze. Westlich des Dorfzentrums steigt das Gelände steil an hinauf zur Hochebene von Leutwil. Ein Kilometer südlich des Dorfes liegt die Ortschaft Alliswil.
