Safien war bis am 31. Dezember 2012 eine politische Gemeinde im Safiental. Sie liegt im gleichnamigen Kreis des ehemaligen Bezirks Surselva im Schweizer Kanton Graubünden.
Am 1. Januar 2013 fusionierte sie mit den Gemeinden Valendas, Versam und Tenna zur neuen Gemeinde Safiental.
