Description by the author

Via Albula ins Engadin, danach Richtung Bernina-Livigno und anschliessend über Bormio zum Stelvio hoch. Am hinteren Ende des 2. Parkplatzes ist der Einstieg zum Ortlerhaus. Anfänglich recht steil, dann nur noch eben als gute Schotterstrasse durch die Mondlandschaft. Bei 3033MüM ist Schluss, ab hier wird die Piste täglich mit Schnee versorgt, damit die Skifahrer bis zur Bergbahn fahren können. Rund um die ehemalige Ski-Universität liegt alles was der Mensch in den letzten 20 Jahren nicht mehr benötigt...
Der Rückweg führt über den Umbrail und Ofenpass wieder ins Engadin und anschliessend via Flüela - Wolfgangpass hinunter ins Rheintal bei HÖLLISCHEN 37°C!
