Das ehemalige Prämonstratenserkloster Cappenberg aus dem 12. Jahrhundert in Selm im Kreis Unna wurde 1816 vom Freiherrn Karl vom und zum Stein erworben und als Alterssitz genutzt, bis er dort 1831 mit 74 Jahren verstarb.
