Worpswede ist eine Gemeinde im Landkreis Osterholz in Niedersachsen, an der Hamme nordöstlich von Bremen, mitten im Teufelsmoor gelegen, und ein staatlich anerkannter Erholungsort. Der Ort liegt an der 54,4 Meter hohen Erhebung des Weyerbergs, der die flache Umgebung überragt. Erste Spuren der Besiedlung reichen bis in die Bronzezeit zurück.
