Rantzau ist eine Gemeinde im Kreis Plön in Schleswig-Holstein. Großkoppel, Papiermühle, Sasel sowie die Güter Rantzau, Hohenhof und Hohensasel liegen im Gemeindegebiet.
Rantzau liegt etwa 11 km nordöstlich von Plön und 7 km südwestlich von Lütjenburg an der Bundesstraße 430. Von 1910 bis 1938 war Rantzau Bahnstation der Kleinbahn Kirchbarkau–Preetz–Lütjenburg.
