Mölln ist eine Kleinstadt im Kreis Herzogtum Lauenburg im Südosten Schleswig-Holsteins. Sie ist auch als Eulenspiegelstadt bekannt.
Die nach Einwohnern zweitgrößte Stadt im Kreis Herzogtum Lauenburg liegt an der B 207 etwa 30 Kilometer südlich von Lübeck, im Gebiet des Naturparks Lauenburgische Seen. Der Stadthügel ist eine vom Schmelzwasser der letzten Eiszeit geprägte Endmoränenzunge. Die Stadt ist von der vom Hellbach bzw. der Pinnau durchflossenen Möllner Seenplatte umgeben, bestehend – im Gegenuhrzeigersinn – aus den Seen Drüsensee, Lüttauer See, Schmalsee, Hegesee, Schulsee, Stadtsee und Ziegelsee. Der Ziegelsee wird vom Elbe-Lübeck-Kanal durchquert, der westlich an Mölln vorbeiführt.
