Neuhausen ob Eck liegt auf dem Höhenzug der Hegaualb, der südlichen Abdachung der Schwäbischen Alb, zwischen Donautal und Hegau, rund zehn Kilometer östlich der Kreisstadt Tuttlingen, mit der die Gemeinde eine Vereinbarte Verwaltungsgemeinschaft bildet. Die Hochfläche wird Die Eck, Ecke oder Egg genannt.
