Cronenberg berg“) ist ein Stadtteil von Wuppertal und verwaltungsrechtlich einer der zehn Bezirke der Stadt. Bis zur Vereinigung mit anderen Städten und Ortsteilen zu Wuppertal im Jahr 1929 war Cronenberg eine eigenständige Stadt und Bürgermeisterei im Kreis Mettmann.
Cronenberg liegt auf einem von Norden nach Süden leicht abfallenden Höhenrücken, der im Osten von den Bächen Gelpe und Morsbach und im Westen und Süden von dem Fluss Wupper begrenzt wird. Der Stadtbezirk liegt auf einer Höhe von 335 m über NN bis 100 m , hat eine Fläche von 2151,45 ha und ist zu ca. 53 % bewaldet. Seit 2006 gehört Cronenberg zum Naturpark Bergisches Land.
