Dausenau ist eine Ortsgemeinde im Rhein-Lahn-Kreis in Rheinland-Pfalz. Sie gehört der Verbandsgemeinde Bad Ems-Nassau an. Dausenau ist ein staatlich anerkannter Erholungsort.
Der Ort liegt direkt an der Lahn. Der alte Ortskern, von einer Stadtmauer umgeben, hat sich zu beiden Seiten eines kleinen Nebenbaches der Lahn, dem Unterbach, entwickelt.
