Burg Brandenstein ist eine hochmittelalterliche Burg im hessischen Landrücken bei Schlüchtern-Elm im Main-Kinzig-Kreis, Hessen.
Die Höhenburg liegt auf 325 Meter über NN, vier Kilometer östlich des Stadtzentrums von Schlüchtern und etwa 1200 Meter ostsüdöstlich von Elm auf einem bewaldeten Bergkegel in der Region Bergwinkel. Die Lage bietet einen guten Ausblick über das Kinzigtal. Der Berg ist umliegend heute größtenteils bewaldet, den Südhang nimmt eine Streuobstwiese ein.
