Der Botanische Garten Düsseldorf liegt im Süden von Düsseldorf am Himmelgeister Rheinbogen. Er gehört zur Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf und zu dem dortigen Institut für Botanik. Gegründet wurde er 1973, gebaut von 1974 bis 1979 und beheimatet inzwischen ca. 6000 Arten. Schwerpunktmäßig werden Pflanzen der gemäßigten Klimazonen gezeigt.
