Das Polizeipräsidium Düsseldorf befindet sich in Düsseldorf-Unterbilk unter der Anschrift Haroldstraße 5. Die Behörde bestand von 1926 bis 1945 und seit 1953 als staatliches Präsidium, davor und in der Nachkriegszeit hingegen unter kommunaler Aufsicht. Das Präsidium ist heute dem nordrhein-westfälischen Innenministerium unterstellt und polizeilich zuständig für die kreisfreie Landeshauptstadt Düsseldorf und alle Bundesautobahnen im Regierungsbezirk Düsseldorf. Behördenleiter ist seit dem 1. Februar 2014 Norbert Wesseler.
