Das RheinRuhrZentrum war bei seiner Eröffnung 1973 eines der ersten überdachten Einkaufszentren Deutschlands. Es liegt im Osten von Mülheim an der Ruhr an der Grenze zu Essen und verfügt heute über rund 79.000 Quadratmeter Verkaufsfläche.
Das 200.000 Quadratmeter große Gelände wurde bis 1929 von der Zeche Humboldt des Mülheimer Bergwerks-Vereins genutzt. Danach diente es als Kohlenumschlaganlage.
