Das Schloss Sondershausen in der gleichnamigen Stadt in Thüringen war bis 1918 die Residenz der Fürsten zu Schwarzburg-Sondershausen. Die umfangreiche Anlage weist eine annähernd 800-jährige Baugeschichte mit bedeutenden Raumfassungen vor.
Die derzeitige Optik des Schlosses rührt weitestgehend von der klassizistischen Umformung des Komplexes durch den Berliner Architekten Carl Scheppig. Der einstige Fürstensitz mit dem Schloss- und Stadtmuseum bildet eines der wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten der Stadt Sondershausen und ist für Besucher zugänglich.
