Das Schloss Belvedere ist eine üppig gestaltete Lustschlossanlage in der Nähe der Stadt Weimar. Die gesamte Anlage einschließlich des Parks mit seinen vielen exotischen Gewächsen wurde 1998 als Teil des Ensembles „Klassisches Weimar“ von der UNESCO zum Weltkulturerbe erklärt.
Das Schloss mit seinen zahlreichen Nebengebäuden sowie einem Landschaftspark samt Orangerie befindet sich auf der Eichenleite bei Weimar, einer ca. vier Kilometer in südlicher Richtung vom Stadtzentrum entfernten Anhöhe. Man erreicht das Schloss über die repräsentative Belvederer Allee, die als geradlinige Achse vom Stadtzentrum direkt bis zur Eichenleite hinaufführt. Das Gelände der Schlossanlage fällt nach Norden hin ab und ermöglicht einen weiten Blick über die Stadt Weimar.
