Die Gesellschaft entstand 2011 als Ausgliederung aus der Omnibus Schlienz Reisebüro GmbH & Co. KG, die heute als Schlienz-Tours GmbH & Co. KG firmiert.
Zum 30. November 2019 stellte Schlienz Omnibus seinen Geschäftsbetrieb ein.
