Adelsdorf ist eine Gemeinde im Landkreis Erlangen-Höchstadt . Die Gemeinde Adelsdorf liegt im Aischgrund und gehört seit der Gebietsreform 1972 zu Mittelfranken .
Durch das Gemeindegebiet fließt die Aisch. Das Landschaftsbild ist geprägt von zahlreichen Weiherplatten. Das Relief ist flachhügelig mit Höhenunterschieden von 262 m ü. NHN an der Aisch bis 328 m ü. NHN im Lichtholz.
