Das Straßendorf Rißtissen ist ein ost-südöstlicher Stadtteil von Ehingen an der Donau. Es befindet sich knapp zwei Kilometer südlich der Mündung der Riß in die von Südwesten kommende Donau. Rißtissen, das auf 490 bis 504 m ü. NN liegt, erstreckt sich über eine Fläche von 12,1 km² und beheimatet 1225 Einwohner.
Rißtissen ist eine Exklave des Ehinger Stadtgebiets, zehn Kilometer östlich des Stadtkerns gelegen, und grenzt an die Gemeinden Griesingen, Öpfingen, Oberdischingen, Erbach , Achstetten und Laupheim .
