Das Universitätsklinikum Frankfurt ist das Klinikum der Johann Wolfgang Goethe-Universität Frankfurt am Main in Frankfurt am Main und ist damit eine Körperschaft des öffentlichen Rechts. Es befindet sich am Theodor-Stern-Kai in den Stadtteilen Niederrad und Sachsenhausen-Nord.
Die Frankfurter Pläne zur Gründung einer universitätsmedizinischen Einrichtung reichen zurück ins Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts und wurden 1899 konkreter mit der Eröffnung des Kgl. Institut für experimentelle Therapie unter der Leitung von Paul Ehrlich. Unter Oberbürgermeister Franz Adickes wurden die Pläne zur Gründung einer Akademie für praktische Medizin vorangetrieben, unter deren Dach das städtische Krankenhaus und mehrere in Frankfurt existierende Institute, unter anderem aus den Bereichen Medizin, Anatomie, Pharmazie und Hygiene, zusammengefasst werden sollten.
