Auch die Route „Südstrand“ beginnen Sie an der Tourist-Information und gehen über die Bismarckstraße und der Promenade bis zum Südstrand. Dort folgen Sie dem Fußgängerweg bis hin zum „Schwarzen Deich“ und biegen links zur Kugelbake ab. Dem Wanderweg in der Greunen Stee entlang erreichen Sie das Café zur Heide. Der Ostfriesenstraße entlang kehren Sie in den Weg zum Upholm Hof ab. Über den Schotterweg erreichen Sie den Alten Leuchtturm, von wo aus Sie über die Kirchstraße, am Kriegerdenkmal zurück in den Ortskern gelangen.
