La Selva del Campo[1][2][3][4] [5] ist eine Gemeinde in der katalanischen Region Bajo Campo in der Provinz Tarragona. Laut Daten von 2017 hatte sie 5546 Einwohner.
Es wird angenommen, dass die Gemeinde römischen Ursprungs ist und dass der Ort während der arabischen Besetzung weiterhin bewohnt war. Es gibt jedoch keine schriftliche Erwähnung bis 1149, als in der Urkunde über die Schenkung des ländlichen Gebiets der Montgons die Selva als Grenze dieses Gebiets erwähnt wird.
