Tollos ist eine Gemeinde der Valencianischen Gemeinschaft in Spanien. Sie liegt in der Provinz Alicante, in der comarca Condado de Cocentaina. Im Jahr 2017 hatte sie eine bevölkerte Zählung von 50 Einwohnern.[3]
Der Städte Name bezieht sich auf Vertiefungen oder Hohlräume im Boden und stammt aus dem Mozarabischen,[4] denn während der christlichen Eroberung wird ein hisn Tulu erwähnt, der Teil der Herrschaft von Al-Azraq war. Jahre später erscheint es als Toyllo und im 15. Jahrhundert bereits als Tollo.[5]
