Die Burg von Prades befand sich im nordwestlichen Ende der Gemeinde Prades. Heute bleibt wenig übrig. Sie wurde verlassen und wurde auf mehrere Häuser verteilt, was ihre Interpretation jetzt sehr erschwert. Das am besten erhaltene Element des Burgenkomplexes ist die Kapelle oder Kirche Sant Miquel der Burg von Prades, die zuletzt restauriert wurde. Prades liegt im Zentrum der gleichnamigen Berge, auf einem Hochplateau an der Grenze zu La Conca de Barberà, L'Alt Camp und El Priorat.
