An diesem Schloss ist eine furchtbare Legende verbunden. Der Herr des Schlosses hatte einen grausamen und gewalttätigen Charakter. Während einer stürmischen Nacht, in einem Anfall von Wahnsinn, verursacht durch den Tod seiner Frau, ermordete er ihre Tochter. Unmittelbar nach der Begehung des Mordes wurde er vom Teufel, in der Gestalt eines monströsen und gigantischen Vogels, mitgenommen.
