Das Schloss Tanlay ist ein Wasserschloss in der französischen Gemeinde Tanlay im burgundischen Département Yonne.
Ursprünglich hatte die Familie Courtenay im 13. Jahrhundert eine Wasserburg errichtet, die über die Familien Champigny und Courcelles im 16. Jahrhundert an François de Coligny kam. Er ließ die mittelalterliche Burg abtragen und begann auf ihren Fundamenten mit einem Neubau in den Formen der späten französischen Renaissance. Im Gegensatz zu dem rund zehn Kilometer entfernten Schloss Ancy-le-Franc wurde beim Bau der Anlage in Tanlay trotz klassizistischer Anlehnungen noch ein wenig der Aspekt von Wehrhaftigkeit bewahrt. Unter der Familie Coligny war das Schloss in den Hugenottenkriegen ein wichtiger Stützpunkt der französischen Protestanten. Im 17. Jahrhundert durch Michel Particelli im Stil des Louis-treize vollendet, überstand Tanlay die Französische Revolution im Gegensatz zu vielen anderen Adelssitzen fast unversehrt.
