Nach einigen Jahren als Bergführer in den Vogesen beschloss Florian Gascht 2010, in sein Heimatdorf in der Vogesen-Ebene zurückzukehren, um dort nach einer zusätzlichen Aktivität zum Wandern zu suchen. Die beiden wunderschönen Kopfweiden seines Großvaters suchten neue Hände, um sie zu pflegen, und so war es nur natürlich, dass er sich für die Korbflechterei entschied.
Florian bietet auch eine originelle Entdeckungsreise durch die Vogesen an, bei der er Spaziergänge in der Natur mit einer Einführung in die Freude am Flechten von Pflanzen verbindet.
