Marion Leyssene hat ihre Wurzeln im Limousin, ganz in der Nähe von Saint-Yrieix in Coussac Bonneval, dem Ort, an dem in Frankreich Kaolin entdeckt wurde. Während ihrer Ausbildung zur Dreherin am CNIFOP in Saint-Amand-en-Puisaye perfektionierte sie ihre Technik bei Lilou Milcent in Saint-Quentin-la-Poterie, wo sie sich nach ihrem Abschluss auch gleich niederließ.
im August 2019 kehrte Marion in die Schule zurück und vertiefte ihre Kenntnisse im Maison de la Céramique de Dieulefit. Sie hat gerade ihr neues Atelier in der Haute-Vienne eröffnet.
Porzellan, ein feines und anspruchsvolles Material, ist ihr bevorzugter Boden. Sie formt es durch Drehen auf der Suche nach reinen und modernen Formen. Diese Suche erstreckt sich auch auf ihre Glasurarbeiten, die von ihrer Liebe zur Natur, die sie umgibt, inspiriert sind.
