Cheriton ist ein Dorf und eine Gemeinde in der Nähe von Alresford in Hampshire, England. Die Siedlung ist vielleicht am bekanntesten, weil sie in der Nähe des Standortes der Schlacht von Cheriton im Englischen Bürgerkrieg von 1644 liegt. Die Quelle des Flusses Itchen befindet sich in der nächsten Gemeinde Kilmeston. Das Dorf hat zwei verschiedene Abschnitte: Cheriton und New Cheriton, das neben der A272 eine halbe Meile vom Hauptdorf entfernt liegt.
