La Girona war eine Galeasse der spanischen Armada von 1588, die in der Nacht vom 26. Oktober 1588 vor Lacada Point, County Antrim, gesunken und gescheitert ist, nachdem sie sich ostwärts entlang der Nordküste von Ulster bewegt hatte. Das Wrack ist bemerkenswert wegen des großen Verlusts an Menschenleben, der daraus resultierte, und der geborgenen Schätze.
La Girona wurde nach der Familie Girones benannt, die zu dieser Zeit gerade Herzog von Osuna und Vizekönige von Neapel geworden waren. Ihr Kapitän war Hugo de Moncada y Gralla, Ritter des Malteserordens.
