Das Gebäude, das aus dem frühen 20. Jahrhundert stammt, wurde um diese Zeit zum Hauptquartier der Norfolk Yeomanry und des 6. Bataillons des Norfolk-Regiments etwa 1910. Das 6. Bataillon wurde in St Giles mobilisiert, bevor es nach Irland entsandt wurde und wurde 1921 anschließend aufgelöst. Inzwischen, im Jahr 1922, wandelte sich die Norfolk Yeomanry zur 108. Feldbrigade, Königliche Artillerie, mit ihrem Hauptquartier in der Drillhalle in der Sporle Road in Swaffham, während die 429.
