Santorin , meist Santorini transkribiert; von italienisch Santa Irene) ist ein griechischer Archipel im Süden der Kykladen, gleichnamig mit dessen Hauptinsel, die im Griechischen zumeist Thira , nach Transkription aus dem Altgriechischen Θήρα auch Thera) genannt wird. Santorin wurde 2011 von etwa 15.550 Einwohnern bewohnt. Seit der Verwaltungsreform 2010 ist es unter dem Namen Thira gleichzeitig eine Gemeinde in der Region Südliche Ägäis.
