Comacchio ist eine Stadt und Stadtgemeinde an der Adria in der Provinz Ferrara in der Region Emilia-Romagna in Oberitalien mit 22.105 Einwohnern . Sie ist die wichtigste Stadt des Po-Deltas. Die Stadtgemeinde umfasst die Lidi di Comacchio und die Ortschaften San Giuseppe, Vaccolino und Volania.
Comacchio liegt südlich des Po-Mündungsdeltas, etwa 30 km nördlich von Ravenna im Nordosten der Provinz Ferrara, die im Norden an die Region Veneto angrenzt. Zum Gemeindegebiet gehören der Hafen von Porto Garibaldi sowie mehrere Dörfer, Binnenseen und Adria-Badestrände zwischen Lido di Volano im Norden und Lido di Spina im Süden.
