Rimini ist eine Stadt an der italienischen Adriaküste in der Emilia-Romagna mit 151.200 Einwohnern und Hauptstadt der Provinz Rimini. Sie ist heute ein Zentrum des Badetourismus. Die ausgedehnte Altstadt Riminis liegt etwa zweieinhalb Kilometer von der Adriaküste entfernt. Die meisten Viertel der Stadt, die direkt am Meer liegen, sind Neubaugebiete.
