Stromboli ist eine italienische Insel mit dem gleichnamigen, aktiven Vulkan vom Typ eines Strato- oder Schichtvulkans. Die Insel liegt im Mittelmeer nördlich von Sizilien.
Stromboli gehört mit seinen Nachbarinseln Lipari, Salina, Vulcano, Panarea, Filicudi und Alicudi zur Inselgruppe der Äolischen oder Liparischen Inseln im Tyrrhenischen Meer. Die Insel gehört zur Gemeinde Lipari in der Metropolitanstadt Messina.
