Die Kirche hat einen einzigen rechteckigen Saalplan, der mit einem Dach bedeckt und in das Pfarrhaus gewölbt ist. Die Mauer besteht fast ausschließlich aus Ziegeln.
Die ursprüngliche Fassade umfasst die untere Wand aus hohlem Kalkstein und das Portal mit einem Balkenbogen aus der Mitte des 13. Jahrhunderts]; der Baldachin, das Buntglasfenster, die Krönung und der Glockenturm sind das Ergebnis zahlreicher Restaurierungen unter der Leitung von Peleo Bacci im dritten Jahrzehnt des zwanzigsten Jahrhunderts.
Das einschiffige Innere bewahrt weit verbreitete Freskendekorationen von Cenni di Francesco di ser Cenni. Von großem Interesse ist die Madonna in Gloria an der rechten Wand der Loggia, deren Gesicht der jungen Simone Martini zugeschrieben wird: Der Rest der Figur ist stattdessen auf eine spätere Restaurierung zurückzuführen, die 1413 von Cenni di Francesco durchgeführt wurde.
