Am Eingang der Kathedrale von Monreale stehen zwei lebensgroße Statuen . Diese Statue zeigt König Wilhelm II., wie er Gott die Kathedrale von Monreale schenkt.

Die Bronzetür des Eingangs zur Piazza Guglielmo II (Platz Wilhelm II.) wurde vom Architekten Bonanno da Pisa angefertigt . Dieser Mann war auch für die Entwürfe des Schiefen Turms von Pisa verantwortlich.
