Diese Wanderung beginnt und endet am Bahnhof Michelau. In Luxemburg ist die Fahrt mit dem Zug und dem Bus kostenlos und Michelau ist leicht zu erreichen. Mindestens stündlich hält ein Zug im Dorf.

Diesmal laufen wir nicht von Station zu Station, sondern machen eine Tour in der Region zwischen Michelau, Wellsheid und Bouscheid. Wir passieren direkt neben der berühmten Burg Bourscheid.

Die Wanderung ist zu Beginn recht schwierig: Wir verlassen das bewaldete Tal der Sauer und müssen hinauf nach Wellscheid, um eine Weile das weite Panorama des Hochplateaus zu genießen. Nach Bourscheid geht es wieder hinab ins Tal, durch den Wald und über breite Pfade.

Gastronomie ist in diesen kleinen Dörfern unmöglich zu finden.
