Duiven ) ist ein Ort in den Liemers, in der niederländischen Provinz Gelderland, und die Hauptgemeinde der Gemeinde Duiven. Von 1986 bis einschließlich 1994 war Duiven eine wachsende Gemeinde. Ab 1995 konzentriert sie sich hauptsächlich auf die Verwaltung und den Unterhalt ihres Eigentums und Gebiets. Am letzten Sonntag im August findet in Duiven die jährliche Sakramentprozess statt. Es ist ziemlich besonders, dass in Duiven und einigen anderen Orten der Umgebung, darunter Huissen, Groessen und Loo, die Prozession noch öffentlich stattfindet. Zur Zeit der Reformation durften Katholiken in den Nordlichen Niederlanden ihren Glauben überhaupt nicht öffentlich bekennen, geschweige denn eine Prozession abhalten.
